These terms govern your use of destinationshift.com, operated by Joshua Tyler Turner from Chur, Switzerland. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. The service
DestinationShift provides travel destination comparison content and a matching tool that helps travelers find alternatives to overcrowded destinations. The service is currently in beta. Features, data, and availability may change without notice as we develop the platform.
3. User information
No accounts are required to use DestinationShift. You may submit your email address to join the waitlist, or submit inquiries through the DMO contact form. By submitting information, you confirm that it is accurate and that you consent to our use of it as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Content and intellectual property
All destination comparison data, blog content, matching methodology, and visual design on this site are the intellectual property of DestinationShift. You are welcome to share links to our content. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute our content without written permission.
5. Accuracy of information
We work to provide accurate destination data, including pricing, crowd levels, weather, and travel logistics. However, travel conditions, prices, and local policies change frequently. You should always verify current conditions before making travel plans or bookings. DestinationShift is not responsible for decisions made based on our content.
6. DMO partnerships
Destinations featured as "verified alternatives" on the platform have been evaluated using our data-driven matching methodology. Paid research engagements with destination marketing organisations are disclosed. Featuring a destination does not constitute an endorsement of safety, quality, or suitability for any particular traveler. Travelers are responsible for their own research and travel decisions.
7. Limitation of liability
DestinationShift provides information for educational and travel planning purposes. We are not a travel agency and do not book travel on your behalf. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from use of the site, reliance on our content, or travel decisions influenced by our comparisons.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Graubunden, Switzerland.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform develops. The date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
